Impact Youth Camp-July 2011-Camp Preston Hunt, Texarkana, AR

Impact Youth Camp 2011-“Transformed” was the best camp yet (I know we say that every year, but it is true)! The youth listened to anointed speakers who encouraged them to get deeper into the Word and to no longer be conformed to the world but transformed by the renewing of their minds. Each speaker brought a new perspective, boldness, and energy. Pastor Mike Glazener ministered on JOY in one morning service that ended up carrying on right through lunch. Brother Chris Refearn met with student leaders and challenged them to go to a new level by ministering to other students at camp. While the students were in session, six senior pastors, or generals as we called them, poured into the youth pastors in the “War Room” with teaching, preaching, prophesying, and laying on of hands.

During the day students had fun at the canoes, pool, bungee run, slip-n-slide, joust, and rock climbing wall. Paul and Katelyn Glazener stepped it up with the Impact Team games this year, dividing churches into several teams, each with a different color. The competition was fierce…but fun… as students and team leaders decked out in their color with paint, clothes, capes, etc. Drama and dance teams from Texarkana Christian Center, Restoration Worship Center, and People’s Church performed each night setting the atmosphere for great things.

In the evening services Josh Siratt and the Impact Band led everyone into deep worship with an intensity like never before. Many students rededicated their lives to Christ and many were saved for the first time! Praise the Lord! One youth pastor brought several unsaved youth and put her faith out from the get go that they would all be saved. That happened by Wednesday night, and we rejoiced with her in leadership! Students came forward to be delivered, healed, and set free. The last night was truly amazing as Pastor Laurie Glazener encouraged the students to SHOUT their victory (and to take that home, too)!

We witnessed a true transformation. Students and leaders who came in tired, struggling, or discouraged left refreshed, empowered, and excited for the future. Already looking forward to next year! Enjoy the pics and please post comments.
